‘"NOEL POUR TOUS" (CHRISTMAS FOR ALL) is a project carried out by the Rotary Club of PAPEETE - TAHITI, with support from  Rotary  Moorea, Taravao and Rotaract.

New bikes were given to winners of the singing competition. Thousands of Baguettes were given freely ( a hundred prepared by DG Roger).

Container loads of gifts were distributed to nearby villages.Rotary had prominent TV and Newspaper Coverage. Major Patron Rene Malmezak was awarded a PHF (+1). Well Done Rotary Papeete

CHRISTMAS FOR ALL is first and foremost a way to collect toys in good condition that families and children no longer want.To do this, the containers are placed on the site where NOEL POUR RÉOUS is held (PUNAAU Town Hall) and on request the people bring the toys clean and in good condition of which they no longer have any use.

Afterwards these toys are sorted, packaged and then distributed to the children of less favored families shortly before Christmas, by associations such as the Christian Brotherhood and the Secours Catholique and others. In fact, it is the idea of the place to throw, on recovery what is still good and well, to please those who would have nothing or not much else.

This year, in addition to toys, the ROTARY collects non-perishable foodstuffs for the distributor to families it must help in this period of crisisBut NOEL FOR ALL, it is also and even especially a great celebration for the children of 5 to 13 years of the disadvantaged or very modest families. To select these children, the ROTARY CLUB is in contact with the social services of the Town halls, who know well the situations of the families of their municipality. It is the social services that identify these children, who bring them to the site of the Christmas Day for ALL, who frame them throughout the day (7:30 am to 3:30 pm / 4 pm) and bring them back At home when the Feast is over. The number of children is not limited.

During this celebration, where ALL is FREE, children are cared for by the Rotary Club and the Rotaract who give them food and drink and who offer them a series of attractions to satisfy the girls and Boys of all ages between 5 and 13 years old: rides, slides, skill games, various animations, make-up booth for little girls, various contests with lots to win, road safety booth to raise awareness, etc. ... etc ... Contest of drawings, songs and other ...

The highlight of the day was as it should be … the arrival of Santa Claus on the podium to reward the winners of the contests.

Finally, if the Rotary Club takes charge of the whole organization of Christmas for All, and pays part of the costs, it is obvious that it invites mainly sponsoring companies (notably for the supply of food, drinks and sweets, for Animation stands, toys and other products and services). And these sponsors always show themselves both generous and supportive of this operation.

CHRISTMAS FOR ALL is always a success since 2500 to 3000 children benefit on average every year.
