Recently, I had the privilege of visiting some of our vibrant and inspiring clubs across Fiji – a journey that was as enriching as it was unforgettable. My heartfelt thanks to the Rotary Clubs of Nadi, Lautoka, Labasa, Savusavu, Suva, Suva Peninsula Sunset, and Suva East, as well as the passionate members of Rotaract Lautoka Sugar City and Rotaract Suva for their warm hospitality and generous sharing of time and stories.
Over the course of my visit, I had the opportunity to witness firsthand the incredible impact these clubs are making across their communities. From schools and hospitals to medical centres, care facilities, and playgrounds, I was truly impressed by the scale, diversity, and heart behind every project. These initiatives aren’t just ticking boxes—they are transforming lives.
In Lautoka, I visited a special school project that’s creating brighter futures for local children. In Labasa and Savusavu, I met club members deeply committed to rural health and community wellbeing. In Suva, I saw strong partnerships in action—from urban outreach to educational support—and I was particularly inspired by the energy and ideas shared by the Rotaractors, who are making a real difference through innovation and service.
Throughout the journey, I was reminded of the incredible spirit of Rotary in Fiji: resilient, compassionate, and deeply rooted in service. I learnt so much from every conversation and every project walk-through. The fellowship, the laughter, the insights, and the dedication I encountered will stay with me for a long time.
To each of the clubs I visited—thank you for the warm welcome, the generous hospitality, and the inspiring work you do. It was a joy to meet such amazing people and experience Rotary’s impact in Fiji. I’m excited to share some photos from the trip—each one tells a powerful story of people coming together to create change.
