Papeete-Tahiti’s 60th celebration was a Gala Night in the prestigious setting of the ARANUI 5 at the Port of Papeete.  It was a great to catch up and reminisce with friends from their first 60 years and even make some new ones.

A full deck on the ship was decorated with banners adding a very festive air. For the dinner deck, nothing but balloons & classy decorations. Everyone dressed up to the 'nines', with lots of bling.

A three-course dinner, Polynesian Dances, a fashion show, an live auction, as well as a raffle, animated the evening and allowed the fundraising of donations for the club’s local projects with NZ$45,000 raised! The club had the honour of the presence of many personalities of the fenua, as well as that of District 9920 Governor Ingrid Waugh. It was a very beautiful evening, which took place under merciful skies.

Pictures of the evening are on the club’s Facebook page at
