What a day! Blessed with beautiful weather, the Rotary Club of Auckland South leading by President Cindy successfully hosted its first-ever Pickleball fundraiser to support the fight against polio.

Over 80 friends and supporters filled the courts, eager to try this exciting sport that’s on its way to becoming an Olympic event in 2032. Under the guidance of coach Ritchie, Professor Lu, and experienced players, everyone - young and old - jumped in to learn, play, and laugh together. The energy was contagious! 🎾✨

The day wrapped up with fun group games, a lively lucky gift draw, and smiles all around. We are deeply grateful to Professor Lu for inspiring this initiative, to our Rotary members and badminton friends for their teamwork, and most importantly, to our community and families whose generosity made this fundraiser a great success.

Special thanks to District Foundation Chair Steve Chaney and Edith Chaney for joining us, and to fellow Rotary Auckland Harbourside Club President Eric and members for their wonderful support. Together, we made a difference!
